A visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau is a long, emotional day, and the journey shouldn't add to it. With this private transfer you have one vehicle, your own private driver and one fixed price for your whole group, from your door in Kraków to the Memorial entrance and back.
How Your Day Works

- We confirm your pickup. Our office confirms the exact pickup time and place the day before, usually about 2 hours before your entry slot.
- Pickup at your door. Your driver collects you from your hotel or apartment anywhere in Kraków.
- Direct drive to the Memorial. About 70 km, roughly 1.5 hours by car, with no stops for other passengers.
- Your driver waits. The standard guided visit takes about 3.5 hours. Your driver stays on site and takes you back to your accommodation when you're ready.

Can I get from Kraków to Auschwitz by bus?
Yes. Lajkonik buses leave from the MDA bus station next to Kraków Główny, take about 1.5 hours and stop at the car park by the Memorial entrance. It's the cheapest option, but departures run to a fixed timetable, so you plan your entry time and your return around the bus. With a private transfer, the schedule follows your ticket instead.
Can I get from Kraków to Auschwitz by train?
Yes. Trains run from Kraków Główny to Oświęcim and take between 40 minutes and 1.5 hours, depending on the service. The station is about 1.5 km from Auschwitz I, roughly a 25-minute walk or a short local bus ride, so allow extra time on both ends. A private transfer drops you at the Memorial entrance and picks you up there.

How far in advance should I book my Auschwitz-Birkenau entry ticket?
As early as you can, ideally several weeks before your visit. Popular dates and time slots can sell out one to two weeks ahead, and sooner from spring to autumn. Once you have your ticket and entry time, book your transfer.
What should I bring for my visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau?
Bring your entry ticket, printed or on your phone, and a valid photo ID matching the name on it, as it's checked at the entrance. The Memorial allows bags up to 30 × 20 × 10 cm. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather, as most of the site is outdoors. Given the subject matter, the visit isn't recommended for children under 14.
