Travelling as a family? The Pool Zone is the one for you. Couples and friends who want warm water and a proper sauna session usually go for OPEN.
Evening Ticket: 18:00 to Closing
The Pool Zone evening ticket is valid from 18:00 until the pools close, at 22:00 from Sunday to Thursday and at 23:00 on Friday and Saturday. That gives you four to five hours of soaking at a lower price than a full day, and a night swim in the outdoor pools with the mountains fading into the dark is one of the best ways to finish a day around Zakopane.

- Go straight to the gates. Scan the QR code at the entrance, no queue at the ticket desk.
- Watch the clock. On 3-hour and 4-hour tickets, any extra time is paid on site when you leave.

How do I receive my Chochołowskie Termy tickets?
The day before your visit we send your ticket as a PDF with a QR code by email and WhatsApp. Save it on your phone or print it, and scan it at the entrance gates. If you book for the same day before 8:00 AM, the ticket arrives shortly after 8:00 AM.
Do I need to choose an entry time?
No. Your ticket is for a date, not a time slot, so you can arrive whenever you like during opening hours. Only the evening ticket has a fixed start: it is valid from 18:00 until closing.
Can I book tickets for today?
Yes. Same-day bookings are open until 8:00 AM, subject to availability. After that, choose tomorrow or a later date in the calendar.
Can I move between the pools and the Saunarium?
Only with an OPEN ticket, which covers both zones. Pool Zone tickets give access to the pools only, and Saunarium tickets to the sauna area only.
Can children visit, and who counts as a child?
Children are welcome in the Pool Zone. Child fares apply to ages 3–15, and children under 3 enter free. The Saunarium and OPEN tickets are for guests aged 16 and over.
Are towels provided, and what should I bring?
Towels are not included, but you can rent one on site. Bring swimwear and flip-flops, plus your QR ticket on your phone. In summer, sunscreen is useful for the outdoor pools.
What are the opening hours?
The pools are open from 9:00 to 22:00 Sunday to Thursday and from 9:00 to 23:00 on Friday and Saturday. The Saunarium opens at 10:00 and closes at the same time as the pools.
Are the outdoor pools open in winter?
Yes. The water stays warm all year, and winter is one of the best times to visit: sitting in a steaming outdoor pool with snow around you and the Tatras in view is what many people come for.
How do I get to Chochołów Thermal Baths from Zakopane?
Chochołów is about 17–19 km from Zakopane, roughly 20–30 minutes by car or taxi. Local minibuses towards Chochołów also leave from the main bus station in Zakopane, which is the cheapest option but depends on their timetable.
How far is Chochołowskie Termy from Kraków?
About 110 km. By car it usually takes around 2 hours along the Zakopianka road, depending on traffic. By public transport you take a bus from Kraków to Zakopane and change to a local minibus to Chochołów, so plan for a longer journey and check the last connection back.
Is the water natural thermal water, and how warm is it?
Yes. The complex is fed by geothermal water from deep under the Podhale region, with sulphide and brine water used in the treatment pools. The pools are kept at around 32–38°C.
Can I eat and drink inside?
Yes, there is a restaurant and a food area on site. Food and drinks bought inside are charged to your entrance wristband and paid when you leave.
